Successful landing gives big boost: But experts warn against rush to open.

Sep. 30--The successful first technical flights at the Suvarnabhumi airport yesterday have provided a major psychological boost among many aviation professionals, and silenced critics, at least for a while, who believed Bangkok's new airport would not be ready for the event.

It bodes well for efforts to fully complete construction and testing of the 155-billion-baht facility, making the latest plan to have it up and running on a commercial basis in June next year possible.
